Every child deserves the opportunity to discover their potential.
For Seung Jun Oh, this is more than a belief it is the mission that has guided his life’s work.
Throughout his career as a former professional athlete, sports executive, educator, and youth mentor, Seung Jun has seen how discipline, mentorship, and positive role models can transform lives. While his journey has taken him through elite athletics, international sports management, business leadership, and youth development, one lesson has remained constant:
True success is measured not by personal achievements, but by the positive impact we make in the lives of others.
For more than two decades, Seung Jun has worked with athletes, students, and families from diverse backgrounds, helping individuals develop not only physical skills, but also confidence, resilience, integrity, leadership, and a commitment to serving others. These experiences strengthened his belief that character education should be accessible to every child, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Today, Seung Jun serves as Partner & General Manager of Master Chang’s Martial Arts, where he works alongside instructors and families to help children develop confidence, discipline, respect, perseverance, and leadership through martial arts education. Guiding thousands of young students has reinforced his conviction that the lessons learned through positive mentorship can shape a child’s future far beyond the training floor.
He is also the founder of OBM USA INC, an international sports management company dedicated to supporting professional and amateur athletes pursuing training, competition, and career opportunities in the United States. Through this work, he has collaborated with athletes, coaches, organizations, and educational institutions from around the world, gaining a broader perspective on leadership, teamwork, cultural understanding, and personal growth.
Beyond athletics and education, Seung Jun believes that strong communities are built by leaders who choose to serve others. His commitment to youth development extends beyond sports, focusing on creating environments where young people feel valued, encouraged, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Over the years, one realization became increasingly clear:
The greatest victories are rarely measured by medals, championships, or titles.
They are found in the child who discovers confidence for the first time.
In the student who learns perseverance after overcoming failure.
In the young leader who chooses integrity, compassion, and service.
That realization inspired the creation of NextGen Leadership Foundation.
Through the foundation, Seung Jun is committed to expanding opportunities for foster youth, homeschool students, and underserved communities through leadership development, mentorship, character education, and physical education. His vision is to help young people build the confidence, resilience, and values they need to succeed not only in school or sports, but throughout every stage of life.
He believes that every child deserves someone who believes in them, encourages them, and helps them recognize the potential they already possess.
