I left everything familiar behind.
My family.
My friends.
My home.
I arrived in America with little English, but with a dream that was bigger than fear.
A new language.
A new culture.
A new life.
A new dream.
In 2005, I left Korea with little more than hope. America gave me new challenges, new opportunities, and ultimately, a new dream.
From Dream to Elite Competition
Sports taught me discipline.
Competition taught me resilience.
Leadership taught me responsibility.
Every challenge prepared me to lead beyond the field.
From Athlete to Mentor, Creating pathways for Future Athletes
After my athletic career,
I realized my greatest victory would not come from winning championships.
It would come from opening doors for others.
Helping young athletes chase opportunities.
Connecting dreams with reality.

Teaching The Next Generation
The greatest victories were never measured by trophies.
They were measured by the confidence, character, and hope growing in every child i had the privilege to teach
That realization inspired the creation of NextGen Leadership Foundation.
Serving the sport also meant protecting its integrity. As a USA Judo National Referee, I continued contributing to the next generation in a different way
Leadership means serving others.

Every opportunity to speak, teach, and serve became another chance to inspire the next generation.
